Guidebook for the Curious
Mapping the invisible powerlines between creativity and madness
If you’ve just arrived here, welcome. This archive is not exactly a newsletter. It’s more like a strange library. Inside are fragments of stories, poems, visual experiments, and journal entries written during moments of clarity, confusion, curiosity, obsession, and recovery. Some of the pieces explore mental health, perception, drugs, belief systems, spiritual tension, and the fragile boundary between imagination and psychosis. Everything here is fictional. Mostly. Every strange library has one book that opens the rest. If you’re wondering where to start, begin with a story about paranoia, survival, and the slow unraveling of coherent perception...
This Escape Legend article offers a glimpse into the rabbit hole, though each piece here is meant to stand on its own. Other Doors in the Archive If you’d rather wander first, you might begin here: • Wandering With the Beast – inspired thoughts on shadows and solitude • The Snow Moon & the Season of Surviving – reflections on childlike presence • Precious Guides – a surreal walk through loss, intuition, and divine moments
This project builds a small universe around questions like these: What happens when a creative mind pushes itself too far? Where is the boundary between insight and delusion? What role do art, belief, and storytelling play in survival? Notes and other ramblings from a chaotic and deeply overthinking mind may include: • reflective journal slivers • creative experiments in art and storytelling • flash fiction and narratives • altered perceptions on drugs, delirium, belief, and recovery • philosophical wanderings Sometimes serious. Sometimes amused. Topics you may encounter include symbolism, psychology, identity, mental health, abandonment, devotion, delusion, safety, dreams, photography, and the visual or written art of connection and containment. This guidebook will evolve. I’ll continue updating it with links as the archive grows.
If you enjoy wandering through unusual introspective terrain, then you’re welcome here. You’re invited to subscribe… or continue stalking anonymously. New entries appear whenever the mind cooperates.
